Background: I began my teaching career teaching ESL at the middle school level in Queens, NY, but also taught it at the elementary level. Last year, I taught Life Skills at Northern Valley Demarest and Old Tappan High Schools, and Foods and Nutrition, Clothing and Interior Design at Fort Lee High School for three and a half years. As a former pre-med student with a strong science background, I also taught Biology and General Science at both the middle and high school levels for the New York City schools.
Interests outside of school: I love to cook and bake, of course! I also enjoy walking and, more recently, hiking, exploring new places near and far, reading the newspaper and a good non-fiction book, and playing the piano and guitar when I can make the time.
First Impression of CPHS: It's a really friendly place! The staff has been very welcoming and supportive, and the students are nice and want to learn. I know I'm going to love it here!
