Welcome Back!

Welcome back to another great school year CPHS students! As we reflect upon these last few days of summer vacation, we should start preparing ourselves for the coming school year. I know dreading the start of a new school year is a common feeling for all students. Not everyone is looking forward to homework, studying for exams, and waking up early in the morning again. But, participation in extracurricular activities and sports can help make starting school again less daunting.

In September, students will be able to explore a variety of clubs and activities CPHS has to offer at the Student Council’s Club Fair. All clubs offered in the school are open to anyone and everyone who wants to join and usually operate throughout the school year.

Don't worry about not being able to find a club to your liking; there is a club for everyone. If you are someone that is interested in Biology, join the Biology Club. If you are someone that likes to help the community, join the Humanitarian Club. If you are someone who likes to write about important issues in the school or around the world, give advice to others, or would like to share your own opinions about different matters, join the Cliffside Park newspaper, The Courier. You have the chance to bring the world to your peers by writing a monthly article. The next meeting will be held on Monday October 2nd.

Enjoy the rest of the summer CPHS students and begin to look forward to the new school year. There are a lot of things CPHS has to offer, so don't miss the Club Fair coming in September!
