Warm Weather in October?
It is already October! School is a month in and Halloween is coming. New costumes and styles are coming out along with coats and hats. Winter is approaching and leaves are falling. October is a month of frights, colors and cold weather. October includes terrifying halloween costumes, bright colors of trees and warm jackets comforting you from the cold. Yet has it been cold lately in the month of October?
According to the past weather forecasts, the highest temperature of October was in the 80s. Last week was nice, breezy and tepid weather. Last Saturday was a hot, humid, sunny day instead of a cold and breezy day. So, why is it so warm in October when it is supposed to be cold? October is supposed to be a preparation for the winter. It is supposed to be a chill, windy and cold fall season. Instead, it is a warm, cool, pool season.
As reported by the local news a clockwise flow around the high, which means our winds will warm up and bring heat, might be causing the warm weather in October. The only situation that can break this high temperature is if a cold front passes by.
However, in 2017’s October, the weather has been stable. There has been some cold, rainy days and some warm, sunny on days. There is not a day in 2017 of October where there is a constant week of tepid or frigid weather. It is a mix of both conditions.
