Spring is the Time for Goals to be Met
Many people have had many goals throughout the past months. However, it is time to renew those goals and bring them back to life. Spring is the time to get goals done; goals you haven’t completed yet and the goals you haven’t started yet can be reached with new energy.
Spring is like a cleanse into the new world. It washes you from the negative and past things. Then, it shines its light on you to enter your new world and your new goals. So, bring back your list of goals, and become determined to finish them because a strong person finishes what they have already started.
The first thing that you should do to achieve your goals is surround yourself with calmness. Dim the lights, light the candles or even take deep breaths to help you become calm. Now, be mindful of everything that you have accomplished thus far. Remember those accomplishments, little as they be, for what they really are - progress. When you ran that extra mile or ate that piece of fruit, you have progressed in some way and that should be commended.
After you’ve done that, take your list of goals out and start checking items off. Check off the goals that you’ve completed. Look at the goals you’re almost finished with and change wording to be realistic. Are they short term goals or long term goals? Lastly, think about new goals that you want to make. Can they be reached? Are they realistic?
When you make your goals, make sure they are what YOU want for yourself and not what others want for you. Remember, this is YOUR life. YOU need to be happy. You need to be independent and live your own life. Making goals periodically will help you reach your dreams. Good luck!
