Year Wrap Up
Here we are at the end of the school year yet again, this time a year older. I am glad to say I am almost through with Junior year and ready to move on as a senior. This year has had its ups and downs from, testing to school work and meetings to my personal life. But, I can proclaim that this won't be a school year I am going to forget.
As you probably all know by now, we have chickens in the courtyard. This was something sponsored by my Biology Club and Mr. Pinto. It has been an amazing experience taking care of them rain or shine. Even though I would have liked more shine days over the crummy weather! I hope all the teachers have enjoyed their eggs and hope to fill all orders by the end of the year.
We also have student council elections rapidly approaching. I will be running for President with a great team standing strong behind me. I’m so thankful to have such great friends who are also committed to the school like I am. Like they say, “Behind every strong man is an even stronger woman”, in this case I have three. I am happy to be running alongside such great people and even greater friends: Myllena Silva, Claire Mancini, and Kiara Parker. I hope we can lock your vote for this year’s election.
I am hoping to follow in the footsteps of the politicians and others in public service who have given their time to speak to our classes regarding our legislative system and give suggestions for student safety. I have truly enjoyed all these visits and hope for many more next year.
