Drama is Brewing in the Auditorium
The CPHS Drama Club is doing their annual fall performance on November 1st and 2nd. They will be performing Hamlet/Appropriate Audience Behavior.
The play is about a theatre club trying to perform Hamlet, but not having enough funds to do it. To help combat this problem, the managers of the club decide to get big corporate sponsors. Hamlet, which is usually a disturbing and serious play, is littered with ads for corporations such as Pepsi and fictional companies. It shows how the play goes and how the audience reacts to it.
This play is going to make you laugh until you cry. It is a hilarious show that everyone will enjoy. It’s filled with wacky characters and funny moments that everyone will love. The audience is also filled with colorful and wacky characters.
The drama officers, and the directors, Mrs. Rembecky and Ms. Shawala, have been working since September to put this production together. We invite all students, parents, and teachers to come and see this magnificent play, performed by the students.
The shows will be on Thursday November 1st and Friday November 2nd at 7pm in the auditorium. We hope to see you there!
