By getting vaccinated, you are protecting yourself and the people around you. The vaccine is the best way to prevent you and your loved ones from contracting the virus. Vaccine options include the Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson vaccines. These vaccines protect you by creating antibodies against the virus; this helps reduce your chances of getting extremely ill from the coronavirus. Though staying 6 feet apart and wearing masks are beneficial ways to stop the spread of COVID-19, getting vaccinated is the best way to protect you if you are exposed to the virus. Once you are fully vaccinated, you can start to get back to life before the pandemic. This, coupled with some great incentives, make getting the vaccine worthwhile.
Over four million people in New Jersey are fully vaccinated, including 207,081 children between the ages of 12 and 17. Governor Phil Murphy announced that those who have received at least one dose of the vaccine before July 4th would be eligible to receive a vax pass. The vax pass allows free entry to all of New Jersey’s state parks and beaches! In order to receive the vax pass, you will have to fill out a form online with your information. CVS is also offering free many incentives to get vaccinated as well. The company is doing this as a way to thank those who took the COVID-19 vaccine. CVS is hosting a sweepstakes with prizes that include free cruises, a VIP trip to the Super Bowl and more to be announced Thursday!
