The Trump Investigations Ensues

Former President Donald Trump has endured a series of ongoing legal conflicts throughout his years prior to, during, and after his presidency. Impeachment trials, accusations of tax evasion and, now, fraudulent activities associated with the Trump Organization. The fraudulent activities charged against the Trump Organization are related to financial and insurance fraud. Specifically, investigations suggest that the Trump Organization’s real estate portfolio was manipulated in order to defraud banks and insurance companies. Furthermore, it is believed that the Trump Organization sought tax benefits and relief through illegal means. This is not recent news and it has been a prominent issue that the former president and his organization may have committed tax fraud. The issue was brought up and intensified in the public when Donald Trump repeatedly refused to release his tax returns.
Manhattan’s District Attorney is conducting the prosecutions to see whether or not Trump and his executives are guilty of the suspected fraud. Trump has made various statements regarding the issue in denial of the accusations against him. Overall, the ongoing legal trials have been a cause of frustration to him which he claims he has no reason to fear. Trump goes on to claim that the accusations made against him are purely out of political cause, designed to indict and undermine his political influence. The greatest concern for him is the financial expenses attached to the trials made out against him.
Trump is far from any relief regarding these matters as there are further attempts to prosecute him with several other accusations against his business practices. Trump has never been criminally charged for any offense and his status as a former president may offer benefits in the prosecutions due to the sphere of influence it provides him. Regardless, the truth must prevail in this case because no one is above the law.
